This instrument is designed to be used manually to cut through bone. It offers many advantages over drills or mechanical tools such as increased sensitivity to adjust the level of force. Additionally this osteotome has the added benefit of featuring calibration lines. This osteotome is available in twelve widths in a straight profile as well as two widths in a curve profile. A full set of ten featuring straight and curved profiles is also available.

Cobb Osteotome
11" (28.0 cm)Cobb Osteotome is ideally suited for use in neurosurgical procedures such as craniotomies. This osteotome can be used to do things such as create a window in the skull to allow access inside or to scrape or carve away at bone to reshape it.
